I have tried almost all my life to be perfect for others. I have tried to give my all so others will view me in a good light. The problem is that those people who I desperately sought approval from and needed them to see me fondly, are the very ones I should have stayed away from in my life. It was a hard lesson but truly an amazing one, after all, is said and done. Now that I do not give them that power over my actions, I can focus on just being myself. I must admit that it has opened doors for me that are truly sent from above. I have been blessed in so many ways for “just being me”. Love yourself! Be yourself! You are worth it!
