I have decided to make Monday “The Road To Me” day. I will post a picture from the Road To Me and discuss how it relates to me, a family member, a friend, or myself.
I am all about a continued journey. I think that every opportunity that comes your way is a journey of some kinds. On my journeys, I am satisfied if I can say that I have learned something new while on that journey. The road to me is packed jam full of journeys, and you all are invited to join me anytime you like. Many people are so excited to get to the end stage that they forget to cherish the journey in the meantime. I have learned lessons from traveling that journey more than the lessons I learned at the end of the journey. Life is a journey, but the journey is the destination. Share your experiences below.
This is the best piece of advice I could have ever received. It is not just important to love yourself so you can love others. You have to love yourself so you can make mistakes and learn from them. However, just because you make mistakes doesn’t mean that you are not lovable or worthy. In fact, it means the direct opposite. We are all human and make mistakes. It is inevitable. So don’t dwell on mistakes and learn to love yourself if you want to have a healthy relationship with anyone. What is your best advice on how to maintain a relationship?
I am having surgery today and am very nervous. The last time I had surgery, I ended up in the hospital for nine months instead of three days. I swore I would never have surgery again. But I have no choice in the matter. My gallbladder needs to be removed. This makes this week’s Road to Me Monday even more important. I have put this day in God’s hands. There is no other way to experience less stress and anxiety. He will take care of me. He will protect me. I am sure of this. I am quite nervous. Please keep me in your prayers.
Everyone is beautiful in their own way. This is something that I work on every day. In today’s society, we don’t tell each other enough how beautiful we are; on the inside. I know, for me, many times, I have a hard time accepting this. I have to convince myself of this so much! Having a positive attitude plays an important role to realizing, accepting, and embracing these premise. People think “beautiful” and automatically, our outer appearance is what people associate with beauty. This makes me sad. If we all would contend that “beautiful” is more importantly meant for the inside, there are many people who would realize their true potential while others may slow their lose their snobbery that tends to come along with thinking about “physical beauty”. My hope when I read this positively beautiful picture is that someday, we all will change the perception of what beautiful represents – our inner soul and the way we treat other people. To me, that is the true definition of being beautiful
