I have decided to make Monday “The Road To Me” day. I will post a picture from the Road To Me and discuss how it relates to me, a family member, a friend, or myself.
This one is a hard one for me. I am a creature of habits, both good and bad habits. Making such a big promise to myself is a contemplation at this point. I just know if I am ready to do that yet or if I am even capable. This goal is one that I will have to create very SMART goals about and work on during a very specific time. Oh Lord, see; a creature of habit even as I plan to live with more intention. What are your hardest habits to break? Let me know in the comments section below.
What compassionate traits that we all should strive to reach! I treat others as I wish to be treated and I love in the same manner. I am not a greedy person, and people that know me well enough will tell you that I am the exact opposite in that I tend to take on more than I should because it is in my nature. It truly is a selfish thing, believes it or not. Helping others and going through life with a lovely heart makes me a better person. I can get up in the morning and go to bed at night knowing that I did something good for someone that day. I like to help people; maybe I use it to validate my worth. That being said, who cares as long as that person gets what they need and I feel good about myself in the process? What is your internal process for feeling better when times are low?
If this wasn’t one of the hardest lessons I learned. But it was all worth it because now, looking back I can honestly say that I view every second of each day as a chance to turn things around. I am always looking for people who are like-minded, passionate, compassionate, friendly, and willing to give as much as receive. How often do you look at difficult times as another chance to turn things around? Would you share your story with me below in the comments section?
Laughter is something that I don’t think any of us do enough. I have a motto that as long as I learn one thing every day, I will be satisfied and able to rest at night. I think that I need to add laughing at one thing every day as another motto to help become a better me. Would you like to take on this goal with me? Then leave a message below and let’s do this thing together! All things are more fun when done with other people, right?
